Overview or Purpose

Preparations for the establishment of the sports nursery of Purvanchal are currently underway at C.M. Anglo Inter College, facilitated by VVV Pvt. Ltd. The project is progressing diligently with a focus on leveling the ground and installing sewer lines to ensure efficient drainage, thereby preventing water accumulation during sporting events. These foundational efforts are pivotal in creating a conducive environment for sports activities and fostering the development of budding athletes. The forthcoming sports nursery will offer a range of basic sports facilities to aspiring athletes, marking a significant milestone in the region's sports infrastructure. The ground will serve as a hub for sports enthusiasts, providing opportunities for training and skill development under the guidance of skilled trainers proficient in 12 different sports disciplines. Scheduled sports activities encompass a diverse array of disciplines, including cricket, hockey, kabaddi, netball, kho-kho, archery, football, gymnastics, badminton, volleyball, and athletics. This comprehensive approach ensures that athletes have access to a wide spectrum of sporting opportunities, nurturing talent across various disciplines. With an allocated budget of Rs. 21.30 lakhs, this initiative underscores a commitment to promoting sports excellence and fostering a culture of athleticism in Purvanchal. Through collaborative efforts and strategic investments, the sports nursery promises to emerge as a catalyst for talent development and sporting success in the region, heralding a new era of sporting prowess and achievement.
