Central Institute Of Higher Tibetan Studies
It is the central University for Tibetan Studies located in the Sarnath, Varanasi. It was established in Varanasi India in the year 1967 as an autonomous organization under the Union Ministry of Culture. The founder of CIHTS, Benares was the Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.
